The Artist Wilderness Connection is a collaboration between Swan Valley Connections, Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation, USFS-Flathead National Forest, and Hockaday Museum of Art. The program places artists in remote backcountry cabins for one to two weeks to create work and eventually share their experience with the public through a presentation or workshop. In 2022, I was one of two artists chosen and spent 12 days in the Great Bear Wilderness, a part of the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex. Below are images taken during my stay at the cabin.
